This playful and challenging vinyasa yoga class inspired by the Barkan Method Hot Vinyasa, will build upper body and core strength, as you link the breath with the body and have the option to explore more advanced variations. The structure of this class is very safe and all level friendly so it is accessible for different levels of yoga practitioners. Fusing together vinyasa with the therapeutics of Hot Yoga, the class is designed to slowly build during the standing practice to elevate the heart rate and sharpen focus before it eases down to the floor for the floor series.
YNDI Flow II with Backbends begins with Standing Breathing, Dandayamana Pranayama, to connect the breath with the body, warm up the lungs and eliminate distraction. Journey through a misty morning, the Hot Vinyasa practice will be in an atmospheric and moody setting inside where you can flow, sweat and awaken the body. The balancing in this class will be one set of most of the balancing postures with natural sunlight in a Nordic barn to improve focus, balance and strength. The floor series is dynamic and therapeutic back strengthening and backbending sequence to strengthen your spine and back, improve flexibility, as well as open your heart and connect you with your purpose. The class closes with final breathing, Kapalbhati Breathing by candlelight, and a luxurious final relaxation, to connect with the energy that has awakened in the body.
